Why the kids did not get Easter baskets this year

"Hey! Look what I caught! Dinner!"

"What? What did I do wrong? Why is everyone looking at me like that?"

"I thought the Easter bunny WAS the treat. I didn't know he was supposed to BRING the treats. Sigh. Being domesticated is so complicated. Is it too late to throw this in the crock pot with a bit of wine?"

This is hilarious. Jacques and my Katie would have a field day chasing bunnies--Katie's very gifted in that area. That bunny is adorable; Jacques has obviously developed a fine taste for "le lapin au vin".

Do you know how many women wish their eyeliner and brows look like his?

I remember waking up one Easter and being rather devastated that the Easter Bunny hadn't come. My mother was perplexed; she was sure the Bunny had stopped at our house on his way down the road, but alas, there was no trail of chocolate eggs for me, because our dog had eaten them. My mother (rather stupidly) had left an elaborate trail of chocolate eggs running through the living room, up the stairs and to my bedroom door, which our dog had inhaled in the night. If I remember correctly, she required surgery for a punctured kidney, as she'd eaten all of the foil, too.

Too cute! And, Nance has such a great point about Jacques' eyes and brows ... he looks like he just came from the salon!
