I sometimes wonder if we'll end up in Portland someday. Lots of family there, and I love the atmosphere. It's a great city. I just thought of my sisters' mom (they're my half-sisters), who does some amazing art in Portland. I don't think she has any shows right now, so you couldn't have seen it. Anyway, here's her web-page. She does a lot of art you might love. http://www.marywells.net

Wow, J, her work is AMAZING. I absolutely love it--her subject matter, expression, and her techniques. Next time I'm in Portland, maybe I can visit the gallery that represents her work.

Truly? I think this one might be the best yet.

Of the work that isn't yours, of course.

Ah, this one is mine too. It's made from the photos I took on my first day in Portland. I printed them out, cut/tore them up, and made this postcard from the pieces.

Loving this! Is it framed in the stones?
July 20, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterPeace
No, the stones are the first layer down, the background.

Catching up on all of your beautiful art, V. I've never been to Portland, but I hear wonderful things about it. The card you created feels right...
